To charge the internal 40mAh Ni-MH battery, simply place the Viper flashlight with the solar panel facing up in a place with access to sunlight or strong daylight. Fully charged in direct sunlight takes approximately8 hours. Once fully charged, the flashlight can glow continuously for about1 hour.
