Made of safe and durable Tritan ™ material (BPA-free), it not only allows you to carry 600 ml of water, but can also be used for disinfection using the SODIS method. After dark, the detachable base turns into a bright LED flashlight with three lighting modes, which you can charge in the sun or using the integrated USB cable.

Water Disinfection Using the SODIS Method:

In situations where access to clean drinking water is limited, POWERplus® Tuna can help purify it. The SODIS (Solar Water Disinfection) method involves filling a transparent bottle with water (not too cloudy) and exposing it to direct sunlight for at least 6 hours (in full sunlight). UV-A radiation contained in sunlight effectively kills most harmful microorganisms. This is a simple and recognized method of emergency water treatment.

LED Flashlight with Three Brightness Modes:

The detachable base of the bottle is an efficient LED flashlight. Using the power button you can select one of three brightness levels:

• High mode: 100 lumens (working time approx. 2 hours)
• Medium Mode: 50 lumens (working time approx. 6 hours)
• Low mode: 20 lumens (operating time approx. 10 hours)

Pressing the button again turns the flashlight off.

Dual Charging – Sun or USB:

You can charge the built-in lithium-polymer battery (480mAh) in two ways:

• Solar Energy: Expose the base of the flashlight (panel side up) to the sun. Full charging time under optimal conditions is approximately 25 hours. The LED indicates charging.
• Via USB: Extend the integrated USB-A cable and connect it to your computer or USB charger. Full charging time via USB is only about 2.5 hours. The LED lights red while charging and turns green when fully charged.
