Intelligent and Ecological Lighting of Your Property - Main Features of the Tapir Lamp:

• Automatic Motion Activated Lighting (PIR Sensor): Don't look for the switch in the dark and increase the security of your property! The built-in passive infrared (PIR) sensor reliably detects human movement within its range. Depending on the selected operating mode, the lamp will automatically turn on with full light when someone approaches it after dark.
• Three Intelligent Operating Modes to Choose from: Adjust the lamp operation to your preferences! Use the easily accessible switch on the housing to select one of three modes (all only work after dark):
  • Mode 1 (Safety Light): The lamp remains completely off in standby mode. When the PIR sensor detects motion, the lamp immediately turns on at full power (140 lumens) for approximately 15 seconds, effectively illuminating the surroundings and potentially deterring intruders, before completely turning off again.
  • Mode 2 (Gentle Backlight + Security Light): After dark, the lamp constantly illuminates with a gentle, energy-saving light (standby mode), ensuring orientation in the field. When the PIR sensor detects movement, the lamp automatically switches to full power (140 lumens) for 15 seconds and then returns to soft backlight mode.
  • Mode 3 (Constant Soft Light): After dark, the lamp constantly shines with gentle, energy-saving light all night long (until dawn or the battery runs out). In this mode, the PIR motion sensor is inactive - the lamp does not respond to movement by increasing brightness.
• Automatic Operation Only After Dark (Daylight Sensor): The built-in precise twilight sensor ensures that the lamp (in modes 1, 2 and 3) is activated only when it is already dark outside. This prevents unnecessary consumption of stored energy during the day.
• Double Charging System (Efficient Solar Panel + Micro USB Support): The lamp is powered mainly by clean and free solar energy thanks to the integrated 1W photovoltaic panel. This panel charges internal lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 2,400 mAh during the day. Usage and Installation Tips:

• Install the Tapir lamp in a place that receives good sunlight most of the day so that the solar panel can charge the built-in batteries as efficiently as possible.
• Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the batteries - preferably by exposing the lamp to direct sunlight throughout the day and additionally using a Micro USB cable (full charging via USB may take about 4-5 hours).
• Mount the lamp at an appropriate height (usually the recommended height for optimal operation of the PIR sensor is about 2-3 meters above the ground) and point the PIR sensor lens towards the area where you want to detect motion (e.g. path, driveway, entrance).
• Remember that all automatic modes (1, 2 and 3) only work at dusk, thanks to the built-in daylight sensor.
• Use the switch on the housing to select your preferred lamp mode (1, 2 or 3).
• To ensure maximum solar charging efficiency, regularly wipe the surface of the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, pollen and other dirt.
