How does it work? (Waste and Sun in Action):

The solar panel (photovoltaic cell) included in the set collects light energy and converts it directly into electric current. This current powers a small motor, which sets the built model in motion through a gear system. The models only work (move) when the solar panel is exposed to direct, bright sunlight - they do not store energy.
