Multifunctional Emergency Radio POWERplus Ox - Solar, Dynamo, USB, Powerbank, Flashlight, Alarm
Are you looking for one reliable device that will provide you with access to information, lighting and energy in absolutely every situation - while camping in a tent, on a plot of land without electricity, during a long car trip, and above all as an essential element of equipment in the event of a power failure, natural disaster or other crisis situations? POWERplus Ox is a versatile, portable multi-function radio that is a true must-have for every outdoor enthusiast, prepper and conscious homebody! In one compact housing it combines as many as 6 key functions: AM/FM radio, USB power bank, bright LED flashlight, digital clock with alarm clock and a loud SOS personal alarm. Most importantly and unique, the Ox radio can be powered in 4 different ways, guaranteeing operation even in the most difficult conditions: solar energy, muscle power (using a crank dynamo), via the USB port or using standard AAA batteries!
Essential for Travel and Emergency Situations - Main Functions of POWERplus Ox:
-
Energy Independence - Up to 4 Power/Charging Methods: This is the key advantage of the Ox radio - you will never be without access to its functions! The device can draw energy from:
- Built-in Solar Panel: Just expose the radio to sunlight to charge the internal battery with free, ecological energy.
- Crank Dynamo: No sun or other source of electricity? No problem! Just a few minutes of vigorously turning the foldable crank is enough to generate enough energy for several minutes of listening to the radio or a few minutes of operating the flashlight. Indispensable in real emergency situations!
- Micro USB Port (Input): You can conveniently charge the internal Li-Ion battery fully (in about 3 hours) before your trip using a standard USB wall charger, car charger or other power bank.
- Standard AAA Batteries: As additional protection, the radio can also be powered by three popular AAA alkaline batteries (batteries not included). A special switch allows you to easily select the active power source (built-in Li-Ion battery or AAA batteries).
- Sensitive AM/FM Radio with Digital LCD Display: Always be up to date with the latest news, crisis announcements, weather forecast or simply relax listening to your favorite music or programs. Radio Ox has a digital tuner ensuring stable reception of AM and FM stations, a clear, backlit LCD display showing the frequency and other information, and the ability to easily search and save your favorite stations (presets). The flexible, foldable antenna further improves the reception quality.
- USB Powerbank function (5V output): Don't be surprised by a discharged phone at an important moment! The built-in USB Type A port allows you to charge a smartphone, GPS navigation, e-book reader or other small USB-powered device, using the energy stored in the radio's internal battery.
- Bright and Reliable LED Flashlight: An integrated flashlight with a powerful LED is an invaluable source of light after dark - it will illuminate the road during a night hike, the inside of a tent, and help find the way or necessary items during a power outage at home.
- Precise Digital Clock with Alarm Function: The backlit LCD display shows not only the radio frequency, but also the current time. The built-in alarm clock function will allow you to get up at a scheduled time, which is useful both when camping and at home.
- Personal Alarm / SOS Signal for Safety: In a situation of danger, the need to call for help or scare away an intruder, you can activate the built-in, loud sound alarm (siren) and the intensely flashing LED flashlight. This is an important feature that increases your security.
- Compact and Thoughtful Design: Despite the wealth of functions, the Ox radio maintains handy dimensions and low weight, so it can easily fit into an evacuation backpack, travel bag, car glove compartment or home drawer "for a rainy day".

How to use and charge (Basic information):
-
Charging the Internal Li-Ion Battery:
- Using a solar panel: Expose the radio to direct, strong sunlight by pointing the panel towards the sun. Charging time depends on light intensity.
- Using a dynamo: Unfold the crank and turn it steadily for a few minutes. Just 1 minute of spinning can provide energy for several minutes of radio operation or several minutes of flashlight operation.
- Via Micro USB port: Connect the Micro USB cable to the input port on the radio and to a USB power source (wall charger, power bank, computer). It usually takes about 3 hours to fully charge the battery.
- Power Source Selection: If you want to use the internal Li-Ion battery, please set the power switch to the appropriate position. If you want to use AAA batteries (they must first be inserted into the battery compartment according to the polarity), turn the switch to the AAA position.
- Radio Operation: Turn on the radio with the ON/OFF button. Select AM or FM band. Use the TUNE+ / TUNE- buttons to manually tune or hold them to automatically search for available stations. Use the PRESET button to save and recall your favorite stations. Adjust the volume using the dedicated knob.
- Using Flashlight and SOS Alarm: Use the dedicated slide switch or button to turn the LED flashlight on/off or activate SOS alarm mode (sound + flashing light).
- Setting the Clock and Alarm: Detailed instructions on how to set the current time and alarm time can be found in the included user manual (usually done with the radio off, using the TIME, ALARM and TUNE+/- or UP/DOWN buttons).
