How to use and Important Notes:

• For best results and fastest charging, fully unfold the solar panel and place it in a place with as much direct sunlight as possible. Using the integrated stand, position the panel so that its surface is as perpendicular to the incident sunlight as possible.
• Connect the USB cable of your device (phone, power bank, etc.) to the USB port located on the Chimp charger regulator module. Charging will start automatically when there is enough sunlight to generate enough power.
• Notice for Sensitive Devices: Some electronic devices, especially some smartphone models (e.g. iPhone), may be sensitive to the fluctuations in charging current that are natural when powered by solar power (e.g. during temporarily cloudy conditions). If you notice that your device has a problem with charging directly from the panel (e.g. it stops and resumes charging), the recommended and often more effective solution is to first charge the power bank using the Chimp charger, and then charge the phone from the charged power bank, which will provide a more stable current.
• Protect solar panels against strong impacts, falls, excessive bending (especially where the panels are joined) and walking on them.
• Keep the surface of the panels clean. Wipe them regularly with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dust, sand or other dirt that may significantly reduce the efficiency of light-to-energy conversion.
• Remember that the efficiency of a solar charger is directly dependent on the intensity and angle of sunlight. On cloudy days, in the shade or when the sun is low above the horizon (morning, evening, winter), the power generated will be much lower and the charging time of devices will be correspondingly longer.
