How does the Camel Charger work? (Direct Loading and Pointers):

A solar panel with a peak power of 3W (actually up to approx. 2W) converts sunlight into electricity. The built-in voltage regulator provides stable 5V output on two USB-A ports. The maximum total output current is400mA(0.4A) under ideal sunlight conditions. Four LED diodes constantly inform about the amount of energy generated, which allows you to optimally position the panel in relation to the sun. Since the device does not store energy, charging only takes place in direct sunlight.

Compatibility note: Output power of approx. 2W (max 0.4A at 5V) means that charging modern smartphones will bevery slow. Some devices (e.g. iPhone) may have problems charging in variable or low sunlight due to built-in protections. In such cases, it is recommended to charge a separate power bank (if you have one) using Camel, and then the target device from it.
