POWERplus Junior Beaver Construction Kit - Solar/Battery Climbing Vehicle (DIY STEM)
Build your own amazing off-road vehicle from scratch that can climb and is powered by natural forces (or batteries)! The POWERplus Junior Beaver set is a fantastic educational toy from the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) category, which will engage your child in the exciting world of mechanics, renewable energy and creative construction. Step by step, element by element, the child will independently assemble Beaver - a clever 4WD vehicle that can overcome obstacles thanks to a special chassis structure. And best of all, Bóbr can be powered in two ways: ecologically, withsolar energy or traditionally, withbatteries! Prepare an obstacle course and check its possibilities!
Build, Learn and Play with Beaver the Climber - Main Features of the Set:
- Fascinating DIY Kit: This is not a ready-made toy out of the box! The child himself, according to the instructions, assembles the vehicle from several dozen elements, which perfectly develops manual skills, precision, patience, the ability to read diagrams and gives great satisfaction from a hand-built, working model.
- Dual, Switchable Power System - Sun or Battery: The beaver can be powered by clean, free solar energy thanks to the photovoltaic panel included in the set - it's a great, practical lesson in ecology! And when there is no sun or the fun moves indoors, just switch the power to the battery to continue playing (Note: the required battery, usually AA or AAA, is usually not included in the set - check the details in the manual).
- True Terrain Conqueror with 4-Wheel Drive (4WD): Thanks to the mechanism that transmits drive to all four wheels, the Beaver has better traction and the ability to overcome small off-road obstacles, such as thresholds, carpets or specially prepared tracks.
-
Three Configurable Operating Modes/Chassis Positions: Adapt Beaver's capabilities to the challenge! The kit allows you to easily change the chassis configuration, offering three modes:
- Walk/Ride Mode: Standard setting for moving on relatively flat terrain.
- Climbing Mode: A special configuration with a changed axis inclination angle that makes it easier to overcome hills and larger obstacles.
- Zip-Line Mode: A unique feature! After properly configuring the wheels, Beaver can ride on a taut rope or string!
- STEM Education through Engaging Play: The Beaver set introduces children in an accessible way to the basics of mechanics (gears, 4WD drive), electronics (a simple circuit with a motor and a switch) and physics (solar energy). It's learning by doing and solving construction problems.
