The product was developed for single-layer glass windows. Thanks to this set, you can easily create an additional, invisible insulating layer between the glass and the room. The air trapped between the glass and the special, transparent heat-shrinkable foil acts as an effective insulator (similar to double-glazed window systems), limiting heat escape in winter and hot air inflow in summer.

How does it work? (Insulating Air Cushion):

After gluing the foil to the window frame using double-sided tape and then shrinking it with warm air from a dryer, a tight layer of still air is created between the glass and the foil. This air is an excellent insulator that significantly slows down the heat transfer between the interior of the room and the cold surface of the glass. The effect is similar to that of an additional, invisible pane.

Simple Installation Step by Step:

1. Thoroughly clean and degrease the inner window frame to which the tape will be glued.
2. Apply the included double-sided tape around the entire window frame. Remove the protective paper from the tape.
3. Unfold a sheet of foil and carefully stick it to the tape on the frame, trying to stretch it slightly (it does not have to be perfectly smooth at this stage).
4. Using a regular hair dryer (set to a warm setting), direct the air stream at the foil, moving the dryer at a distance of a few centimeters. Under the influence of heat, the foil will shrink, tighten and smooth itself, becoming transparent. Start at the corners and work your way to the center.
5. After shrinking, carefully cut off the excess foil protruding beyond the tape with a knife or scissors.
