EcoSavers 24h Mechanical Timer - Analog Socket Timer (Schuko)

Are you looking for a simple, reliable and inexpensive way to automatically turn on and off electrical devices in your home or office at specific times? The EcoSavers 24h analog timer is a classic, proven and extremely easy to use solution! Forget about complicated digital displays and button programming - here, setting the work schedule is done intuitively, using physical latches (segments) placed around the clock face. This mechanical timer is an ideal tool for controlling lighting (including simulating presence during absence), aquarium or terrarium equipment, heating at specific hours, ventilation, as well as for automatically turning off devices (e.g. Wi-Fi router, chargers) at night, which allows you to save electricity and increase the comfort and safety of your home.

Simple Automation and Energy Saving - Main Features of the EcoSavers Analog Timer:

  • Extremely Easy Mechanical Programming Using Ratcheted Segments: Setting a schedule is child's play and does not require any technical knowledge! There are 96 small, push-in pawls (segments) around the clock face. Each pawl corresponds to a 15-minute time interval. To set the period during which the connected device is to be ON, simply press the appropriate latches down. The segments left in the up position indicate the time the device will remain OFF.
  • Repeatable Daily Cycle (24 Hours): Once set, the work program will be automatically repeated every day, at the same hours, until the user manually changes the latch configuration.
  • An Effective Tool for Saving Electricity: The timer is ideal for automatically turning off devices that do not need to be running non-stop, especially at night or during your absence. This allows for effective management of energy consumption by, for example, Wi-Fi routers, power strips with chargers, decorative lighting, aquarium pumps, ventilation systems or electric heating in selected zones. It helps eliminate unnecessary power consumption by devices in standby mode.
  • Useful Presence Simulation Function (Anti-Burglar): Are you going on holiday or a weekend? Use a timer to automatically turn on and off, for example, a table lamp or a radio at irregular times in the evening. Such a simulation of the presence of household members can effectively deter potential burglars.
  • Manual Operating Mode Switch (Timer / Permanent On): Do you need to turn on a connected device for a moment outside the programmed schedule, or do you want it to run non-stop for a certain period of time, regardless of the timer settings? No problem! Just slide the convenient switch located on the side of the programmer housing:
    • 'Clock' position (marked with a clock symbol): The timer works according to the set ratchet program.
    • Position 'I' (indicated by a dash symbol or 'ON'): The timer socket is permanently on (providing power without interruption) and the programmed schedule is temporarily bypassed.
  • Reliability and Simplicity of Proven Mechanical Design: The lack of complex digital electronics means high operational reliability and less susceptibility to failures or interference. This is a solid mechanical technology that has been proven for years and will serve you for a long time.
  • Safety of Use and High Load Capacity: The programmer is equipped with a standard socket and an F-type plug (Schuko), with grounding contacts to increase safety. The high maximum load capacity of up to 3500W (16A) allows you to safely connect most typical home and office devices. (It is recommended to check the packaging or product for additional protection of the socket against access by children - "child lock").

How to Program EcoSavers Mechanical Timer (Step by Step):

  1. Set Current Time: Gently turn the outer dial of the clock (with hour scale) clockwise until the current time on the dial aligns with the stationary arrow (or other clear marking) on the inside of the timer casing.
  2. Program Your Schedule: Consider the time slots during which the connected device should be turned on. Then, using your finger or the tip of a pen, press down all the detents (black or gray segments on the circumference of the dial) corresponding to these time periods. Each latch pressed provides 15 minutes of operation for the device. The pawls left in the up position indicate the time when the device will be turned off. You can set multiple such on and off periods throughout the day.
  3. Select Timer Mode: Make sure that the switch on the side of the housing is set to the 'Clock' position (marked with a clock symbol). Only in this position the programmer will implement the switching on and off schedule you have set.
  4. Connect Timer and Controlled Device: Now you can safely connect the timer to the wall socket, and then connect the plug of the device you want to automatically control (e.g. lamp, fan) to the socket on the timer. From now on, the device will work according to your program.
