This heating fan is powered by heat from your wood, gas or soapstone stove. Just place it on the hot upper plate of the stove. When its base reaches a temperature of minimum 60°C, the built-in Peltier module will start generating electricity that will drive two silent propellers. The fan will automatically distribute the warm air horizontally around the room, rather than allowing it to rise unproductively to the ceiling. You will feel thermal comfort faster and more evenly!

How does a Heat Powered Fan (Peltier Module) Work?

The secret lies in thethermoelectric (Peltier) moduleplaced in the base of the fan. When the base is hot (from the stove) and the top with the double heat sink remains cooler (cooled by the surrounding air), a temperature difference is created. The Peltier module uses this difference to generate an electrical voltage (Seebeck effect). The generated electricity powers a small electric motor that turns two fan blades. The greater the temperature difference, the more current is generated and the faster the propellers rotate.

Usage and Safety Instructions:

• Before first use, gently rotate the paddles by hand to make sure they rotate freely (they may have been slightly deformed during transport - gently straighten them if necessary).
• Always place the fan on a flat, stable surface, at the back of the top plate of the stove (not at the front, close to the chimney).
• Do not move the fan when it is hot - use the built-in handle and protective gloves.
• The product is intended for indoor use only, in dry conditions.
