Increase the efficiency of your stove and enjoy pleasant warmth throughout the room! The EcoSavers® fireplace fan is an innovative device that distributes warm air without the use of electricity or batteries - it is powered only by the heat from your stove!
This clever fan is designed for use with wood, gas or soapstone stoves (so-called "goats", free-standing stoves). Just place it on the hot upper plate of the stove. When the fan base reaches a temperature of minimum 50°C, the built-in Peltier module will start generating electricity to drive the propeller. The fan will automatically start working, gently blowing warm air from above the stove into the room instead of letting it rise unproductively to the ceiling.
Main Benefits of the EcoSavers® Fireplace Fan:
- Fuel Savings Up to 18%: Thanks to better heat distribution, the room heats up faster (up to 23% according to tests) and more evenly, which allows you to reduce the amount of wood or other fuel burned.
- Increased Thermal Comfort: Warm air is distributed more efficiently throughout the room, eliminating cold zones and providing a more pleasant temperature.
- Zero Operating Costs: Works without electricity and batteries, using only the temperature difference between the hot base and the cooler heat sink thanks to the Peltier module.
- Automatic Operation: The fan starts automatically at 50°C and stops when the stove cools down. The rotation speed is adjusted to the oven temperature.
- Very Quiet Operation: The noise level is extremely low (below 58 dB), ensuring comfort of use.
- Safety of use: It has a built-in thermal protection - a special spring slightly raises the fan base when it becomes too hot (above 350°C), protecting the Peltier module from damage.
- High Quality Materials: Made of high-quality anodized aluminum, ensuring durability and good heat conduction.
- Large Air Flow: Circulates air effectively with a capacity of up to 260 CFM (approx. 440 m³/h).
How does a Heat Powered Fan (Peltier Module) Work?
The secret lies in thethermoelectric (Peltier) moduleplaced in the base of the fan. When the base is hot (from the furnace) and the top part with the heat sink remains cooler (cooled by the surrounding air), a temperature difference is created. The Peltier module uses this difference to generate an electrical voltage (Seebeck effect). The generated electricity powers a small electric motor that turns the fan blade. The greater the temperature difference, the more current is generated and the faster the fan rotates.
