The built-in passive infrared (PIR) sensor reliably detects movement within a range of up to 3 meters and at an angle of 120 degrees. Installation and Operation:

• Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the lamp using a Micro USB cable (connected e.g. to a phone charger) until the indicator light changes color from red to blue.
• Use the slide switch on the lamp housing to select the desired operating mode: ON (continuous light), OFF (total shutdown) or AUTO (automatic switching on when motion is detected in the dark).
• Thoroughly clean and dry the surface where you plan to mount the lamp. Peel off the protective foil from the adhesive tape on the metal plate and press the plate firmly to the prepared surface for a few seconds.
• Attach the magnetic lamp base to the mounted plate. The light should hold securely but be easy to remove.
• If you are using AUTO mode, make sure that the PIR sensor (usually the small, milky dome on the front of the light) is pointed towards the area where motion is to be detected and that its "field of view" is not blocked by any obstacles.
• Remember that in AUTO mode the light only activates in low light conditions (when it is dark). In a bright room it will not react to movement.
• Try not to install two motion sensor lights very close to each other (e.g. closer than 1-2 meters), as they may interfere with each other's operation in AUTO mode.
• The product is not waterproof. Protect it from moisture and use only indoors in dry rooms.
