TheEcoSavers PIR motion sensor socket is an extremely simple and intelligent solution that will allow you to automate the operation of connected electrical devices, significantly saving electricity and your money. Just plug this adapter into a standard wall socket and then connect the selected device (e.g. lamp, fan) to it. From now on, it will only activate when the built-in passive infrared (PIR) sensor detects movement within its range!

How does it work and what do you gain? Main Features of EcoSavers PIR Sensor Socket:

• Automatic Turning on Devices by Motion Detection: The built-in, proven PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor reliably detects human movement (heat source) in its detection field, which covers a range of up to 8 meters and a viewing angle of 100 degrees. As soon as you enter the range of the sensor, the device connected to the socket will be immediately turned on automatically.
• Automatic Power Off After a Period of Inactivity: No more unnecessary operation of devices and wasting electricity! If the PIR sensor does not register any movement for a certain period of time (approximately3 minutes), the socket will automatically cut off the power to the connected equipment, ensuring maximum energy savings.
• Two Intelligent Motion Detection Modes to Choose from: Using a simple slide switch on the housing, you can choose under what conditions the motion sensor should be active:
  • 24/7 mode (Sun/Moon symbol): The PIR motion sensor works 24 hours a day - both during the day and at night. The device will turn on when motion is detected, regardless of the time of day. An ideal mode for controlling e.g. ventilation, air conditioning, air purifier or lighting in rooms without access to daylight.
  • NIGHT Mode (Moon Symbol): The PIR motion sensor activates only when the surroundings are dark. The built-in twilight (daylight) sensor prevents the device from being turned on during the day. A perfect solution for automatic lighting control at night or in less frequently used, dark places, such as corridors, staircases, basements, garages or toilets - the light will turn on only when needed.
  (OFF mode is also available - completely turning off the socket).
• Versatile use in Home and Office: The socket with a motion sensor is ideal for automating lighting in passages, corridors, dressing rooms, basements, garages and attics. It can also be used to control fans, portable air conditioners, radios and other devices that are only intended to operate when someone is present in the room.
• Extremely Simple Plug & Play Installation: Forget about complicated assembly and configuration. Just plug the EcoSavers adapter into a standard Type F (Schuko) wall socket, and then connect the plug of the device you want to control (with a power of up to 3680W) to it.
• Safety and High Load Capacity: The socket can safely support devices with a total power of up to 3680W (16A), which allows you to connect most standard home and office devices. It has a standard F-type socket (Schuko) with a grounding contact and mandatory protection against children's access (so-called "child lock").

Available Operating Modes (Set by Slide Switch):

• OFF: The socket is permanently turned off (no power to the connected device).
• 24/7 (Sun/Moon symbol): The PIR motion sensor is active 24 hours a day (day and night). The device turns on when motion is detected and turns off automatically approximately 3 minutes after the last detected motion.
• NIGHT (Moon Symbol): The PIR motion sensor is only active in low light conditions (when it is dark). The device turns on when motion is detected (only when it is dark) and turns off automatically after about 3 minutes after the last detected motion.

Usage and Placement Guidelines:

• Place the socket in such a way that the PIR sensor has the best possible, unobstructed "field of view" of the area where you want to detect motion (e.g. corridor, entrance to a room). The optimal installation height for the socket is usually the standard height of wall sockets (less than 1.8 meters).
• Avoid pointing the PIR sensor lens directly at heat sources (such as radiators, radiators, fireplaces), places exposed to strong sunlight, fan or air conditioner outlets, as well as objects that may be moving (e.g. curtains moved by the wind with an open window). This may cause unwanted false activations.
• If you use the NIGHT mode (activation only in the dark), make sure that the built-in twilight sensor (usually a small, round element next to the PIR lens) is not covered and is not illuminated by other artificial light sources at night (e.g. a night lamp, light from another room). This may prevent the device from activating, even when motion is detected.
• Remember about the fixed shutdown delay time of approximately 3 minutes. The device will remain on for 3 minutes from the last recorded movement in the sensor's detection field.
• The socket is intended for use only indoors in dry rooms. Do not expose it to moisture.
