EcoSavers 24h External Timer - Analog, IP44 (Schuko)

Do you want to automate the operation of your garden lighting, outdoor Christmas lights, pond pump, irrigation system or other outdoor electrical devices in a simple, reliable and energy-saving way? The EcoSavers Outdoor 24h analog timer is the perfect solution, designed specifically for safe outdoor use! Thanks to the solid casing with protection class IP44 (splash resistance) and the classic mechanical programming mechanism, you can easily set the daily operating schedule of the connected devices with an accuracy of 30 minutes. No complicated electronics, no batteries - only proven, reliable technology for convenient control and real energy saving in your garden, terrace or balcony. It is also a great tool for simulating your presence at home while on vacation.

Simple Outdoor Automation and Energy Saving - Main Features:

  • Adapted for Safe Outdoor Use (Protection Class IP44): The solid, properly sealed housing of the programmer has a protection class of IP44. This means that it is resistant to the penetration of solid objects with a diameter over 1 mm and protected against water splashes from any direction. This allows the timer to be used safely and reliably outdoors, e.g. in the garden, on the terrace, balcony or at the entrance to the house (it is recommended to connect it to an external socket that also has appropriate protection, e.g. with a flap). Of course, it can also be used indoors without any problems.
  • Extremely Easy Mechanical Programming (30-Minute Segments, Fixed Ratchets): Forget about complicated instructions! Setting the schedule is intuitive and quick. There are special, permanently attached latches (segments) around the rotating clock dial, which you just need to move (push down or lift up, depending on the direction marked on the dial) to define the time intervals in which the connected device is to be ON. Each such segment is responsible for30 minutes of working time. The pawls left in the neutral position indicate the device'sOFFperiod. The fact that the pawls are permanently integrated into the dial eliminates the risk of accidentally losing them, which was a problem with older timer models.
  • Automatic, Repeating Daily Cycle (24 Hours): Once set by you, the work program (i.e. the configuration of the position of all 48 pawls on the dial) will be automatically repeated by the timer every day, at the same times, until you manually change the settings or switch the work mode.
  • Effective Saving of Electricity Outdoors: Automate the operation of your external electricity receivers and pay only for the energy you actually need! Turn on garden or holiday lights only for a few hours in the evening, run the fountain or irrigation pump only at certain times of the day - avoid unnecessary 24-hour electricity consumption.
  • Simple but Useful Presence Simulation (Anti-Burglar) Function: Are you going on holiday or a long weekend? Use this timer to automatically turn on and off outdoor lights (or indoor lights if you use it at home) at programmed evening times. Such a simple activity simulation can effectively deter potential burglars, increasing the security of your home while you are away.
  • Convenient Manual Operating Mode Switch (Timer / Permanently On): Do you need to temporarily turn on the connected device permanently, regardless of the set time program (e.g. during gardening)? No problem! Just slide the convenient slide switch, located on the side wall of the programmer housing, to the permanently on position (usually marked with the symbol 'I' or 'ON'). Moving the switch back to the 'Clock' position will restore automatic operation according to the programmed schedule.
  • Safety, Reliability and High Load Power: The programmer is equipped with a standard socket and an F-type plug (Schuko) with grounding contacts, which is crucial for safety when using electrical devices outdoors. The socket also has a mechanical protection against children's access (so-called "child lock"). The high maximum load capacity of up to 3680W (16A) allows you to safely connect and control most typical garden, workshop and home devices.

How to Program an EcoSavers External Analog Timer:

  1. Set the Current Time on the Clock Face: Find a stationary arrow or other clear marking on the timer housing that indicates the current time. Then, gently turn the outer dial of the clock (the one with the ratchets and the hour scale) only clockwise until the current time on the dial aligns with this mark.
  2. Program Your Daily Switch-On Schedule: Consider the time intervals (with an accuracy of 30 minutes) for the device connected to the timer to be active (switched on). Then, using your fingertip, move (push down or lift up - as marked on the dial or in the instructions) all the fixed pawls (segments) corresponding to these time periods. Segments set in the "ON" position (usually pressed/moved outwards) define the operating time of the device. Segments left in the neutral position indicate the time the device will remain off.
  3. Select Timer Mode: Make sure that the switch on the side of the housing is set to the 'Clock' position (marked with a clock symbol). Only in this position the programmer will implement the switching on and off schedule you have set.
  4. Connect the Timer to the Socket and the Controlled Device: Now you can safely connect the prepared timer to an appropriate external socket (preferably protected against weather conditions, e.g. with a protective flap), and then connect the plug of the device you want to automatically control (e.g. garden lamps, pump) to the socket located in the programmer.
