• Precise Measurement of Two Key Parameters: The device uses sensitive sensors to continuously measure and display the two most important parameters of the indoor microclimate:
  • Air temperatures in degrees Celsius (range from 0°C to +50°C, with an accuracy of +/- 1°C).
  • Relative air humidity in percent (ranging from 20% to 90% RH, with high accuracy +/- 3% RH in the key range of 40%-70% and +/- 5% RH in the remaining range).
• Visual Climate Comfort Level Indicator: You don't have to analyze the numbers! A special graphic icon (representing a "smiling" or "neutral/sad face") on the LCD display quickly and intuitively informs whether the prevailing conditions are within the range of thermal comfort for humans recommended by experts (temperature in the range of 20°C - 26°C AND at the same time relative humidity in the range of 40% - 70%).
• Save Energy on Heating (and Cooling) Thanks to Humidity Control: Did you know that we feel dry air as cooler and too humid air as more "suffocating"? Moreover, heating humid air (with high relative humidity) requires much more energy than heating dry air! By maintaining humidity in the optimal range for health and comfort of 40-60% RH (e.g. through regular airing, using dehumidifiers or air humidifiers if necessary), you can not only improve your well-being, but also significantly reduce heating costs in winter! Conscious temperature control (avoiding overheating) also contributes to energy savings all year round.
• Large and Readable LCD Display: All the most important information - current temperature, current humidity and graphic comfort indicator - are presented simultaneously on a large, clear liquid crystal display using large, contrasting numbers. This ensures excellent readability even for older people or from a distance.
• Extremely Versatile Mounting/Placement Options: The special, multi-functional stand/holder included in the set gives you complete freedom to choose where to install the device:
  • You can simply place the thermo-hygrometer on any flat surface, such as a shelf, desk, bedside table or window sill.
  • You canstick the holder to a wall, furniture or other smooth surface using the strong adhesive tape on its back (remember to clean and dry the surface first).
  • You can remove the protective adhesive tape from the holder and use the holder's built-in magnet to easily attach the device to any metal surface, such as a refrigerator, metal door frame, computer case, or magnetic board.

Usage Directions:

• Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device and insert one new AAA alkaline battery, paying particular attention to the correct polarity (+/-) indicated inside the compartment. Then close the cover.
• Place the thermo-hygrometer in a location that best represents the general conditions in the room (e.g., approximately 1-1.5 meters above the floor). Avoid placing it in places exposed to direct sunlight, near sources of heat (radiators, fireplaces, TVs), cold (windows, external doors in winter) or moisture (humidifiers, bathrooms, kitchens while cooking), as this may disturb the accuracy of the measurements.
• Regularly monitor the temperature and humidity readings and the comfort icon to consciously assess the quality of the indoor climate.
• Try to keep the relative humidity in living spaces within the recommended range of 40-60%. Too low humidity may cause drying of mucous membranes and breathing problems, while too high humidity promotes the development of mold, fungi and mites, and increases the feeling of cold and heating costs. If necessary, use appropriate methods of humidity regulation (ventilation, drying, humidification).
• Remember to periodically replace the battery with a new one when the display becomes difficult to see or the device stops working completely.
