EcoSavers Mini Electricity Meter (Wattmeter for Socket, Schuko)

Do you want to gain full control over electricity consumption in your home and discover which devices generate the highest costs, but you value simplicity and compact size? Remember: measuring is knowledge! The compact EcoSavers Energy Meter Mini energy meter is a high-quality, easy-to-use "plug-in" measuring device (inserted directly into the socket), which will allow you to check exactly how much electricity individual household appliances, electronics and computers consume, as well as calculate the real cost of their use. Thanks to it, you will make conscious decisions about saving energy!

Know Your Devices' Energy Consumption - Key Features of the Mini Meter:

  • Monitor Key Energy Consumption Parameters: The meter clearly displays the most important information about the operation of the connected device:
    • Instantaneous power (Watts - W): Shows how much power the device consumes at a given moment - during operation and in standby mode.
    • Main voltage (Volts - V): Provides information about the current voltage in your electrical outlet.
    • Total Energy Consumption (Kilowatt-hours - kWh): Sums up the amount of energy used by the device since the start of measurement (or since the last reset).
  • Calculate Actual Device Operating Costs: Simply enter your current price for 1 kWh of electricity into the meter's memory (e.g. from the bill from the electricity supplier, in EUR or as a conventional unit for PLN), and the meter will continuously calculate and display the total cost (€/currency) of energy consumed by the connected device from the moment the measurement begins.
  • Identify Home "Energy Vampires": Connect various devices (TV, set-top box, computer, chargers, audio equipment) one by one and check which of them consume the most electricity, especially in standby mode. This knowledge will allow you to eliminate hidden energy guzzlers.
  • Compact "Mini" Size: The "Mini" version is noticeably smaller than standard energy meters, making it more discreet when plugged into an outlet and easier to move between different devices and rooms.
  • Extremely Easy to Use - Plug and Measure: Using the meter is very simple. Just plug it into a standard wall socket (Type F - Schuko), and then connect the plug of the device whose consumption you want to measure. You can view measurement results and settings using the MODE button.
  • Clear LCD Display with Overload Indicator: All key information (power, voltage, kWh consumption, cost, price per kWh) is presented on a clear LCD display. It also has an overload indicator ("OVERLOAD").
  • Data and Settings Memory: The meter stores accumulated data on energy consumption (kWh) and costs (€) as well as the price per kWh programmed by you, even after disconnecting it from the power socket. There is also a RESET button to reset the measurements to zero.

Information displayed (Switched cyclically by the MODE button):

  • Current power consumed by the device (W)
  • Current voltage in the electrical network (V)
  • Total electricity consumption since last reset (kWh)
  • Total calculated cost of energy consumed since last reset (€ / other currency)
  • Programmed price per unit of electricity (€/kWh / other currency/kWh)

Technical Specification:

  • Device type: Electricity consumption meter / Wattmeter for socket, Mini version
  • Operating voltage: 230V AC / 50Hz (range 200V-276V)
  • Maximum load: 16A / 3680W
  • Socket/plug type: Type F (Schuko) - with grounding
  • Measurement accuracy: +/- 2% (typical)
  • Display:LCD
  • Measured / Displayed values: Instantaneous power (W), Voltage (V), Energy consumption (kWh - total), Energy cost (€ - total), Unit price (€/kWh - set)
  • Function buttons: MODE (change the displayed value / move to the next digit when setting the price), UP (change the digit value when setting the price), RESET (zeroing kWh and € data)
  • Settings and data memory: Yes (non-volatile, retains data after disconnecting the power supply)
  • Intended use: For internal use

First Use and Setting Price per kWh:

  1. Connect the EcoSavers Mini meter to a standard Type F (Schuko) power socket. The LCD display should activate, showing one of the measured values.
  2. To enter or change the electricity price, press and hold the "MODE" button for about 3 seconds. The first digit of the price setting (€/kWh) will flash on the display.
  3. Use the "UP" button to set the desired value for the currently flashing digit (0 to 9).
  4. Press the "MODE" button briefly to proceed to setting the next digit. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all digits constituting the unit price of energy (e.g. for the price of PLN 0.75/kWh you will set 00.75, treating EUR as a conventional unit).
  5. After setting the last digit, press and hold the "MODE" button for another 3 seconds to save the set price and return to the normal display of measured values.
  6. Now you can safely connect the plug of the device whose energy consumption you want to measure to the socket on the meter.
  7. By briefly pressing the "MODE" button, you can cycle between displaying the current power (W), voltage (V), total energy consumption since the last reset (kWh), total calculated cost (€) and programmed unit price (€/kWh).
  8. To reset the accumulated energy consumption (kWh) and cost (€) data before starting a new measurement, use a thin, non-metallic object (e.g. toothpick, pen tip) to momentarily press the small "RESET" button, usually located in a small hole on the meter housing. The set price per kWh will be saved in memory.
