EcoSavers Mini Electricity Meter (Wattmeter for Socket, Schuko)

Do you want to gain real control over electricity consumption in your home, but you value simplicity and compact size? Remember: accurate measurement is the basis of conscious saving! The EcoSavers Energy Meter Mini energy meter is a high-quality, exceptionally easy to use and small "plug-in" measuring device (inserted directly into the socket). It will allow you to effortlessly check how much power individual electrical devices in your home consume - both during operation and, often more importantly, in standby mode. Moreover, thanks to the possibility of programming the price for 1 kWh, the meter will calculate for you the real cost of using each connected equipment. Gain knowledge that will allow you to make informed decisions and effectively reduce your electricity bills!

Find out How Much Your Appliances Use - Main Features of the EcoSavers Mini Meter:

  • Monitor Key Energy Consumption Parameters: The meter clearly displays the most important information about the operation of the connected device:
    • Instantaneous power (Watts - W): Shows how much power the device consumes at a given moment - during operation and in standby mode.
    • Main voltage (Volts - V): Provides information about the current voltage in your electrical outlet.
    • Total energy consumption (Kilowatt hours - kWh): Sums up the amount of energy used by the device since the measurement was started (or since the last reset).
  • Calculate Actual Equipment Operating Costs: It's simple! Enter your current price for 1 kWh of electricity into the meter's memory (e.g. from the bill from the electricity supplier, in EUR or treating it as a conventional unit for PLN). From now on, the meter will continuously calculate and display the total cost (€/currency) of energy consumed by the connected device during the measurement.
  • Identify and Eliminate Home "Energy Vampires": Many devices consume electricity even when they are turned off by remote control (standby mode). By connecting a TV, set-top box, computer, monitor, chargers, audio equipment and other devices to the Mini meter, you can easily check which of them are the most energy-consuming in standby mode and decide to completely disconnect them from the network when not in use.
  • Compact Size and Discreet Appearance: The "Mini" version of this meter is characterized by much smaller dimensions than standard socket wattmeters. This makes it less noticeable when plugged in, does not block adjacent sockets and is easier to carry and use in different places in the house.
  • Extremely Simple Operation – Just Plug and Measure: Using the meter is very simple and intuitive. Just plug it into a standard wall socket (type F - Schuko), and then connect the plug of the device whose power consumption you want to measure. You can view the measurement results and the programmed price per kWh by repeatedly pressing the "MODE" button.
  • Easy LCD Display with Overload Indicator: All key measurement and calculation data are presented on a clear liquid crystal display. Additionally, an "OVERLOAD" warning will appear on the screen if the connected device exceeds the maximum allowable power (3680W).
  • Data Memory Even After Disconnecting from the Mains: You don't have to worry about losing results when moving the meter or a temporary power outage. The device stores in non-volatile memory accumulated data on energy consumption (kWh) and calculated costs (€), as well as the price per kWh programmed by you. There is also a "RESET" button to reset the collected measurement data (kWh and €).

Information displayed (Switched cyclically by the MODE button):

  • Current power consumed by the device (W)
  • Current voltage in the electrical network (V)
  • Total electricity consumption since last reset (kWh)
  • Total calculated cost of energy consumed since last reset (€ / other currency)
  • Programmed price per unit of electricity (€/kWh / other currency/kWh)

Technical Specification:

  • Device type: Electricity consumption meter / Wattmeter for socket, Mini version
  • Operating voltage range: 200V - 276V AC / 50Hz (nominal 230V)
  • Maximum current load: 16 A
  • Maximum load power: 3680 W
  • Socket/plug type: Type F (Schuko) - with grounding
  • Measurement accuracy: +/- 2% (typical)
  • Display: LCD (liquid crystal)
  • Measured / Displayed values: Instantaneous power (W), Voltage (V), Energy consumption (kWh - total), Energy cost (€ - total), Unit price (€/kWh - set)
  • Function buttons: MODE (change the displayed value / move to the next digit when setting the price), UP (change the digit value when setting the price), RESET (zeroing kWh and € data)
  • Settings and data memory: Yes (non-volatile, retains data after disconnecting the power supply)
  • Intended use: For indoor use only in dry rooms (IP20)

First Use and Setting Price per kWh:

  1. Connect the EcoSavers Energy Meter Mini to a standard Type F (Schuko) power socket. The LCD display should activate, showing one of the measured values.
  2. To enter or change the electricity price, press and hold the "MODE" button for about 3 seconds. The first digit of the price setting (€/kWh) will flash on the display.
  3. Use the "UP" button to set the desired value for the currently flashing digit (0 to 9).
  4. Press the "MODE" button briefly to proceed to setting the next digit. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all digits constituting the unit price of energy (e.g. for the price of PLN 0.75/kWh you will set 00.75, treating EUR as a conventional unit).
  5. After setting the last digit, press and hold the "MODE" button for another 3 seconds to save the set price and return to the normal display of measured values.
  6. Now you can safely connect the plug of the device whose energy consumption you want to measure to the socket on the meter.
  7. By briefly pressing the "MODE" button, you can cycle between displaying the current power (W), voltage (V), total energy consumption since the last reset (kWh), total calculated cost (€) and programmed unit price (€/kWh).
  8. To reset the accumulated energy consumption (kWh) and cost (€) data before starting a new measurement, use a thin, non-metallic object (e.g. toothpick, pen tip) to momentarily press the small "RESET" button, usually located in a small hole on the meter housing. The set price per kWh will be saved in memory.
