The EcoSavers Energy Meter is your personal energy auditor in the form of an easy-to-use socket adapter! This simple device will allow you to precisely measure the energy consumption of individual household appliances, electronics and computers, calculate the costs of their use, and even estimate the associated CO2 emissions. Remember: Accurate measurement is the basis of conscious saving!

Main Features and Benefits of EcoSavers Energy Meter:

• Precise Consumption Measurement in Many Aspects: Monitor key operating parameters of the connected device: real-time power consumption (Watts), mains voltage (V), current consumption (A), current frequency (Hz) and significant power factor (Power Factor).
• Cost and Total Consumption Calculation: Track your total energy consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh) cumulatively over the duration of your measurement. Most importantly, you can easily program the current price for 1 kWh of electricity (in Euro or another currency, if you treat the unit as non-denominated), and the meter will automatically calculate for you the total cost of energy consumed by the tested device.
• Environmental Impact Awareness: In addition to the financial costs, the device also estimates the total carbon dioxide emissions (CO2 in kg) associated with the electricity consumed, helping you understand the ecological footprint of your devices.
• Large, Clear LCD Display: All important information is presented clearly on a multi-section LCD display, which makes it easier to read and analyze the collected measurement data.
• Simple Operation "Plug and Measure": Use is extremely simple. Just connect the meter to a wall socket (Type F - Schuko), and then connect the plug of the device whose power consumption you want to check. The measurement will start automatically.
• Data Memory Thanks to Internal Battery: Don't worry about losing data in the event of a power outage or moving the meter. The built-in battery maintains the saved measurement results (kWh, costs, CO2, time) and the programmed price per kWh. (Note: Before first use, it is recommended to briefly charge the internal battery for 10 minutes by connecting the meter to the mains).
• Reset Function and Overload Indicator: The device has a RESET button to easily reset settings and measurements. Additionally, the display will inform you with the message "OVERLOAD" if the connected device exceeds the maximum permissible load (16A / 3680W).

Important Notes and First Use:

• Check Socket Compatibility: This meter is designed for F-type (Schuko) sockets, which have two holes for pins and side grounding plates. It will not fit and will not provide grounding in E-type sockets (so-called French sockets, with a protruding grounding pin).
• For Internal Use Only: The device is not resistant to moisture or weather conditions. Use it only in dry rooms.
• Charge Before First Use: To ensure proper memory operation, connect the meter itself (without load) to a power outlet for approximately 10 minutes before first use.
• Do not connect meters in series: For safety and measurement accuracy reasons, do not connect several energy meters one to another ("cascade").
• RESET function: In case of device freezes, display errors or lack of response to buttons, you can reset the meter to factory settings by pressing the RESET button using a thin object (e.g. a bent paper clip).
