Just unfold this small panel (the folded dimensions are only approx. 17x11 cm!) in a well-sunlit place and connect your mobile device (phone, GPS, small MP3 player) to the built-in USB-A port. Solar energy will be immediately transferred to the equipment being charged.

Important: POWERplus® Fox is a solar charger operating indirectmode. This means that it does not have an internal battery and does not store energy. Charging only takes place when the panel is exposed to sufficiently strong, direct sunlight.

How does the Fox Charger work? (Direct Loading Only):

The foldable solar panel with a peak power of 3W (2x 1.5W, STC) converts sunlight directly into 5V electricity, supplied to the USB-A output port. The real effective output power in good sunlight is approximately2W. Since the device does not store energy, all generated power must be continuously received by the connected device.

Note: The output power of approx. 2W (corresponding to a current of approx.0.4A at a voltage of 5V) means that charging modern smartphones will bevery slow. Some devices (e.g. iPhone) may have charging problems with changing sunlight. In such cases, it is better to first charge a separate powerbank (if you have one) and then charge the phone from it.
